That's captures joy within

 

Tell me about the fear

That took you years to fight

 

Tell me about how all you've done

Helped get you to this night

 

Tell me about the good,the bad

And even the ugly times

 

Tell me how you picked it all up

And moved to the lights' shine

 

Tell me about all these things

That got you to this point

 

And I'll tell you about how proud I am

That you have made it through!

I like the story played out in this piece - an open ear, encouraging a friend to open up. The format is different; took me a bit to get the flow, but once I did, I "got it". Good job!
