She was an amazing person

Put a smile on everyone’s face

Rest in Peace Kristina

I know you’re in a better place

 

Her mistakes have been forgiven

Her soul is now at peace

She was someone’s daughter

She was someone’s niece

 

She held my hand

Through thick and thin

She was a beautiful girl

With pale white skin

 

She was not perfect

Is anyone though?

She had come a long way

She had definitely grown

 

She was like a sister to me

Opened up her home

Then the tragedy happened

She left all alone

 

No matter what

She has done in the past

I would take the wrap for it all

If I could just have her back

 

Her spirit is free

She is still with me in my heart

She is my guardian angel

We’ll never be apart

As soon as my eye's read and registered those last few words I got goosebumps all over my arm.
I really like this poem, because the way you put it together was so nice. You described who she was, her looks, you painted a picture of her in my head and I liked that because it made me able to connect with your feelings more. You talked about how you would do anything to have her back, which I completely feel the same way with the deceased people I love. It rhymed so nicely, and I could really connect to it. (:
