My Wish For You

A poem explaining my advice and hopes for my children as they grow up.

May your words not be misspoken

May your thoughts not be misconstrued

May your legacy never be forgotten

This is my wish for you.

Aspire to achieve every dream

All ambitions pursue

May you triumph in all your endeavors

Be relentless in all that you do.

Allow failures to transform into wisdom

May all your hopes come to be true

Hold dear, perseverance is the key

To becoming a successful you.

Never compromise your values

Appreciate the lesson behind every scar

Live each day to the fullest

And, stay true to who you are.
