I can't remember...

I can't remember...

A Poem by Mizuki Tsukiakari

So long, how long

I can't remember...

Has it been since you were there for me

I can't remember...

How long have I not seen your smile on your face as you looked down at me, holding me so tightly in your arms

I can't remember...

That day when I was falling into myself, into the Hell burning deep inside of me

I can't remember...

My heart frozen with your cold self, then shattered into millions by a bullet of your gun

I can't remember...

So tell me, please, as I lie here crying for death, as I lie here bleeding life

I just can't remember...

So reveal to me, How long has it been since I've known the truth?

I didn't expect anyone to get it, but I'm glad you liked it.
An ironic piece of poetry, I think. Has quite a strength and power to itself which you just can't put your finger on. It's good, based on this line alone:

"My heart frozen with your cold self, then shattered into millions by a bullet of your gun"

A quality piece of imagery, that is.
