This Blood of Mine

This Blood of Mine

A Poem by Mizuki Tsukiakari

There, again...

Found

That mark

It is there again, just like before

This blood once flowed

This heart once full

How, ever will I get to know why

Why my body is covered

So easy, simple to conceal

Gone by early Light

Etched into my very skin by fangs

of this faminished beast

This lust of blood buried in your eyes

Uncovered by this very moonlight

How, ever will I get to know why

This Blood of Mine so lusted by you

Author's Note

Mizuki Tsukiakari
Just so you know, this poem is about a human who gets bit by a vampire just about every day. The human is trying to understand a vampires desire for blood, and the vampire won't tell the human. (The human has bite marks left behind on their body.) ;p
