Full Moon

Full Moon

A Poem by Mizuki Tsukiakari

You, the very moonbeam

Who shines from a Light so captivating

This very Light that has possesed my heart

My heart that is now within your hands

The hands that keep me safe

The hands that I hold

You lit my soul on fire

With the moonlight that radiates from your very being

My love for you ignites this fire

Until I am nothing but burnt ashes

"Moonbeam, whose moonlight

Shines to my soul,

Full moon, shine so radiantly

An object of beauty

In a world of Darkness,

You moonbeam

You my love."

Oh, wow, this is romantic and beautiful. (and makes me think of Evangeline from Princess and the Frog. :P)

The way your words flowed smoothly and the descriptions that you used were just enough to bring out a romantic emotion and create a pretty picture. I liked it. :)

Aw, the connection to the moon. How I know it well. And yet connected from the rays is a love eiether for nature or for a certain someone.

Truly an inspiration is the celestial being in the sky that arrives in the darkest of fields, spreading her raidiant light upon the flowers that grow in the shadows.

True, true phraise to this poem celebrating such a marvelous object, such a symbolic object.

And actually, this just described a piece I am doing. Therefore, I really thank you for sharing!

A child of the moon, it seems, wrote this poem. It always surprises me how powerful the presence of the moon is, to stand under it and walk in the night is to see a world full of wonders.
