Falling from Heaven

A summer storm comes rollin in

lightning strikes and thunder claps

I see the rain fall to the earth

as the sky turns black and heavens close

I see their faces turn to stone

and wonder where we all will go

we flow down rivers, streams, and creeks

fall over the edge and tumble down

we reach a place we are content

until it starts all over again

Enjoyable piece with great imagery. I even liked the shape of the poem lol. A pleasant read filled with the wondering of the mind. As far as wondering where we all go I know a wonderful book that contains the answer to that. God's Holy Word. The 1611 King James Bible contains the answer to that question. Bassically heaven for those who accept God's free gift of salvation by trusting in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and hell for those who don't. I really enjoyed the poem. Yes a well done poem indeed...it does seem that we wonder around not knowing where we are going but then we find a place to rest..but then we all go back wondering around again.

I would title it: Falling from Heaven, or Falling from the Heavens, or even just Falling.
