Female Emotions

Female Emotions

A Poem by melril18

You cry

and pray

and cry

and pray.

And nothing ever changes.

You pray all night every night

but it doesn't make a difference.

So you cry some more.

You get angry and that makes you cry.

You cry and that makes you angry.

So you pull out your notebook and

get some Skillet going.

You crack open a Dr Pepper

and for a breif moment you calm

down.

He wraps you in his arms and

you start to breathe.

The Dr Pepper's gone.

He's in class.

Skillet's on repeat.

You're a page down.

And still hurt.
