Oh Mother

Oh Mother

A Poem by midnight reaper

Oh mother where may you be please catch me in your arms
Oh i'm afraid of the world outside of mine
Oh mother where may you be im not prepared
Not prepared to leave this nest
Oh mother where may you be hold me in your arms
Answer my cries
Oh mother where may you be I won't survive
No I won't

I thought of fledglings flying the nest for the first time. How difficult that moment is, but then with all their courage they take to flight. It is hard, but that's the future. Harness it. Take a deep breath and do it. Nicely expressed feelings of fear here.
