What not to grow

Unmatched love does not sow

The pain surrounds me, my head to my toes

Resigned to die not fast but slow

Stuck in this world, can’t go

Lights dim, faint glow

Mark, I am moved by the first three lines. I read and stop and reread, lovely. The pattern is fantastic making the poem visually flowing, I must do a writing like this soon! The content takes me so many so many places, on the heels of one of Cat's poems, but the slow kill in yours is uncontrollable and unavoidable. I feel the pain. Love the title and the sand footprints brings me to where you are. I always like to leave positive... so here goes:

He knows
What I have grown
Love like this surely sows
Together, always, for an eternity
The love surrounds me... ten-fold
Resigned to wait but flying fast
Can�t wait to see him
When can I go?
