She’s beautiful

Always looking down with those

stars in her eyes

It’s no surprise

Her strength is encompassing

 

She protects

the innocents

They roam the streets

looking for things to eat

She is their messiah

 

Wings that spread out in the night

Hair of raven, it shimmers in the moon

light

When she comes…

 

The gifts she bestows are plentiful

 

She soothes all with her silken caress

The innocents pin pictures on her celestial

dress

When she comes…

 

The love she share is wonderful

 

When the cries of her children reach her

ears

When they flood the town with their tears

She’ll reappear
