Goo

Goo

A Story by Jacqueline

Anti wrinkle, age defying and soul devouring...

Goo

Potions, lotions and creams that promise to erase lines off of one’s face.  Some concoctions come with SPF 30 and the like; some with a tint to help hide blemishes to some extent.  Make-up alone won’t do when you are trying to slather your mug with goo.

Wrinkles, lines and huge pores no more!  Smear the years away today with that creamy white substance in a jar that will have you looking much younger by far.  Banish all dark spots so your kids won’t play Connect the dots on your cheeks-results may start to show in just a few weeks...

Scented, unscented…the quest for bottled youth is unrelenting.  Look like your favorite movie stars when you buy a special gel from some exclusive spa.  Crows feet and bags; flesh that sags; it’s hard to keep your confidence from dragging.   Staring into a mirror as you touch imperfect skin you forget to love the beauty within.

This is GREAT but I think you have so many rhyming and/or word plays it should be written in poetic form.
One of these days I am going to write down all the commercials in an eight hour day(minimal) about how to improve one's exterior.
I did buy "Sleek and Shine" and found it does help my hair look good but found out from someone in the 'beauty' business that most of those frizz-ease and other conditioners have WAX in them. So, you wax your legs and other places to look feminine, wax off your face, and wax your hair-buy apples with wax, cover your canned goods with wax and if your husband isn't satisfied with all that, he gets waxed ..uh...wacked.

I love this! They promise us the moon. I can wear Eva Langoria's lipstick, have Andie McDowells haircolor, the same time I am wearing Reese Witherspoon's cream from Avon.... I just never imagined I could look like all of them! The name of this is priceless too - what a hoot.
