dopamine

dopamine

A Poem by aspen

i see her face and a process of events takes place

first, a rush of blood to my cheeks

second, waves of warmth pumping from my heart

third, butterflies kissing my insides and gliding across my ribs

fourth, tingling sensations of drops falling into pools of dopamine that i was now afloat in

i lust for her lips, her innocent touch

she's got me up all night, every night

aching and waiting for the day i see my baby

I really like this piece. It is basic and descriptive too. I like your use of words and the images you paint give an ethereal power to your text. Good writing!
