Free Falling

Free Falling

A Poem by tabile

Image

Spiraling down, head first
Trying to claw the thin air that unfurls around me
Heart fluttering, beating, thumping
Fingers fidgeting, fumbling, trembling
Eyes squeezed shut
Lips tugging to a sweet, ghostly smile

Free-falling.

So silly, naive, and brave
but it's the best thing yet that I've ever wrapped around my fingers
Mind hanging with so much commotion
Cheeks heating up, reddening, tingling
That's what it was like to fall for you.

I think I might have so easily fallen for you.

Thank you very much. I'll go make the text bigger now. I'm sorry for making it hard to read.

This is a great poem. I have to say that it was unfortunately hard for me to read because I am old and my eyes are bad and the type was a bit too small. Your words were powerful and precise. Well written.
