May As Well Be A Million

May As Well Be A Million

A Poem by Michael Stevens

You're right there; might as well be a million miles away

I'm standing here watching, yet there's nothing I can

to take the fear away, give the answers that you seek

You're scared, alone, wondering why me?

Such a helpless feeling as I watch you fade away

If love were the cure...

I write for fun; I write comedy pieces and some dramatic stuff. I have no formal writing education, and I have a fear of being told I suck, and maybe I should give up on writing, and get a job makin.. more..
