All She Wrote

Disastrous words

Just the wrong words uttered at just the right time

and that's all she wrote, can't take them back

A fleeting misfiring thought spells disaster;

from dusty corners of your broken brain they came,

and changed the direction of where you thought

you were inexorably heading; now you're lost
