America, 2018, Or Germany, 1933?

CNN reporter Jim Acosta was interrupted and told to 

leave by a White House Aide when he tried to ask a 

Russia investigation question, and the crowd started 

yelling “you're a liar!” at him, and I got chills down 

my spine. This is the more like a scene from Nazi 

Germany when Hitler came to power. Mob mentality 

gone wild. A clamp down of THE staple that sets us 

apart, or used to, from a dictatorship, a free press. 

What has happened to the country I used to know? It 

started with chants of “Lock her up!” at rally's, now 

this. Automatons parroting what their leaders say, 

with no desire to find out the truth. Mindless 

zombies in a trance, unhinged from reality, doing 

their masters bidding.

If you'd have told me it would be like this in 

America, I'd have laughed in your face, but now 

days, up is down, black is white, and truth is what 

Donald J. Trump tells us it is. America meets The 

Twilight Zone. I can hear Rod Serling saying, “It 

looks like the old America, but take a closer look. 

These citizens carrying torches though the dark of 

night are looking for a monster, a monster called 

Truth, to burn at the stake, then, once they've 

destroyed it, in mindless celebration they'll dance, 

somewhere in The Twilight Zone.”
