Know Who You Are

Know Who You Are

A Poem by K. C. Wells

I am a woman
    Who doesn't wear make-up.

I am a lady.
    Who isn't very lady-like.

I am a wife.
    Who argues with her husband.

I am a daughter.
Who doesn't talk to her parents.

I am a sister.
Who doesn't know where they are.

I am a housekeeper.
    Who hates housework.

I am a Christian.
    Who doesn't go to church.

I am a musician.
    Who doesn't have an instrument.

I am a writer.
    Who leaves stories unfinished.

I am a dreamer.
    Who doesn't have a dream.

I am a perfectionist.
    Who isn't perfect.

I know who I am.

I am ME.
