Rainstorm Tears

 

I cry for you,

 I see your face.

 left me behind without a trace.

I want you close and though you are,

never have I felt this far,

never have you left my mind,

not even a little

and I'm far behind.

 

With you gone I have many fears,

secrets and I cry my tears.

I feel alone there's nothing left.

Will you come come back to

get forgiveness for your theft?

 

You took me away,

I think about it all the time.

Please give me back my heart so it can be mine.

You hurt me and I don't know how,

I let you in but let you out.

 

You need to give me back my life,

I've lost a home I've felt my strife.

I wish I'd never seen your face,

that you were gone without a trace,

but whenever I walk by my door,

your walking by,

 but not much more.

 

I want you back,

but its not fair,

that you can live

and I have to care.

 

So if you want to you can say hi,

 but you'll never see these tears I cry.

 

 

Author's Note

I was hurt when I wrote this but at least my pain resulted in a beautiful poem. I really hope you like it. I also turned it into a song. it probably is better left as a poem though.

I can feel your pain in that. I hope you are ok now! Sometimes, it takes really raw emotions to come up with something powerful. (Sucky but true!) But I find poetry is always a healthy way of dealing with such hard emotions. I hope you are ok now!
