Heart's Play

Heart's Play

Deep in the heart of the pale blue moon,

what do you see,

are your eyes opening.

Dark as the skies,

as they break through the clouds,

and push away all of the light,

Night has taken over,

and we play the gentle strings of the harp

as it plays my magick beat.

As it dwindles in my heart

and brings back unwelcome memories

of the past,

of the present.

Show me what you see,

as the harp's music plays,

its sweet gentle tune.

The pale blue moon,

the deep dark skies,

they grow even bigger

as the time goes by.

What is this life called,

why is that thing made,

why are the people so obliviously unprepared,

As the harp's sweet melody comes down to an end.

We stop and see the reality,

and now our time stream bends.

Deep and gently,

sweet and sound,

now our eyes are open and bound.

Bound to stare at the moon and

whisper the harp's gentle tune,

remembering all the hope we held

in our hearts when it once played.
