It's Only Murder

I never wanted to be a victim
Of your very nature
One small crash
Then left in pieces
Stories defeated the
Purpose of reality
Now I’m addicted to my own mask…

I can hear what they’re saying
And it’s like being buried alive
What seems fictional
Is as real as ever
And now I’m like 
A natural born killer
I suppose some lessons are never learned…

Just if I could tell you what’s on my mind
And rebel against the consequences
Before the flames bottle me up inside myself
You should know, pain is a prophecy

God must really hate us to sit around
Watching us throwing bullets
Careful!
I’m an animal!
Though you really did have that coming
Kill and ask questions later
We’re all just victims of being buried alive…

It’s only subconscious murder
That everybody feels inside
There’s no light in the day
When day is only a disguise
But perhaps liars
Can tell the truth
And killers can save a life…

This really blew me away,
I love the line:
