Night

Night

A Poem by Diane

When night time comes
And its time to sleep
My mind truns on and makes me weep
I don't care what I forgot to do
It will be there tomorrow
This much is true

As soon as I'm down
My mind awakes
Leave me be for goodness sakes
I don't want to write a list to do
I just want to sleep
Like I'm supposed to do

Turn off now
So i can sleep
It can wait till mornin
CauseI am beat

I'm to tired to fight
So listen to me
Good night good night
I'm ignoring thee

That is very true. Sadly, everything is still here when I wake up.
I'm lying here, reason WC, because it's past 2am, but I can't sleep. This poem is perfect right now. I'm tired; you know better than anyone that I had a busy day, but I'm wide awake. Thanks for the enjoyable entertainment. Sleep well!

This was my life for so many years, who would have thought I would miss it? Nice job, Diane!

Thank you Wendy!
I can relate to this poem very much. sometimes it's tough to turn off your mind sometimes when your body is tired.its very poignant the way it was written from your own point of view. Truth be told you need a vacation
