My Best Friend.

My Best Friend.

A Poem by Diane

He's loving
He's kind
He's funny
and cute

He can Get on my nerves
Push my button
make me mad
and make me curse

He's not perfect
And that's okay
I knew that from the first day

He's also
corky and crazy
half the time lazy
quit and cool
and gentle too
A good husband
and father
and friend too

Without him
I wouldn't know what to do.

Great piece of poetry with a twist of humor

Posted 6 Years Ago

And so it is. If we're wise enough to be agreeable, we'll take a bit of bad with the good and be thankful. It's not the movies, after all. Another great poem from your keen mind.

Not so sure about the keen mind but I am thankful for your review.
This is a wonderful poem celebrating friendship.
Indeed it is a good thing to show gratitude in our various
humans relationships (work, family....), and friendship is one of those things taken for granted sometimes.

WELL DONE

Thank you!
Being a husband,I'm not shy, everything you wrote my wife would probably be nodding her head, yet she still loves me, thank goodness. And without her I wouldn't know what to do.
I really enjoyed reading your poem. I can definitely relate to it.
