Thos blue eyes and little smile that woke me in the morn

Knowing nithing had been better than the day you were born.

So special and perfect, my little boy.

A love for you had grown that no one could destroy.

 

So many times had i been told you would ruin my life.

Yet even so small you removed my strife.

Yes at time things were hard but I always had you.

That perfect little boy and his "I love you too".

 

You were here so early and I was so unready.

but it didn't matter when i held you and your teddy.

Your small hands and your cute smile.

No matter the trouble was always worth while.

 

So as I see you holding that girl.

My heart breaks and my brain is in a whirl.

I can't forget that little boy who belonged to me.

Who is becoming everything he can be.

 

Though your big now the memory doesn't fade.

Nothing for you would i ever trade.

You were a miracle no one else seen

because you were brought to me when i was seventeen.
