i like the way

a romantic poem giving in into old romantic gestures we explicated to make you feel each moment

I like the way you lose your temper easily,

I find it sexy.  You're like a lioness,

A lioness that I can't quite rein in.

Imagine if I could harness your power,

And that strength, could I handle it I wonder?

I like the way you concede eventually,

The way you laugh it off rather than get cross.

The way you never let things get the better of you,

I like it, I like you too.

You say you're the best thing since sliced bread,

But that's just there in your pretty little head!

Why don't you let others decide your fate?

As to whether they like or whether they hate.

Still, I'd be happy to tell you you're beautiful,

Attractive, sexy, funny, intelligent, cuddly,

And everything else in-between too.

But what's the point huh, if you already know?

I know people give you a hard time,

But I'm pretty sure you give as good as you get!

Would you bite? You might... Grrrrr!

Let's tussle and tumble tonight,

Let's fight, like big cats do and see where it leads,

Cos I have needs. Who'll still be standing in the end,

I wonder? But there we are, do we get far?

I like the way you act like a diva sometimes,

And the way you think nothing of me travelling north,

For the privilege of buying you egg on toast for breakfast,

Which is a little bit rich isn't it love?

Which I'm not.

Like someone who's got the divine right to everything she wants,

You're sure heading the right way to getting it all...

But I just have to say,

My opinion differs slightly that way...

Grrrrr!
