I Sing (RIP Kit G. Branson)

I Sing (RIP Kit G. Branson)

A Poem by Michael Morris

I Sing A Song For A Misunderstood Man  Gone Way To Soon,
Of A Family Man, Nurturing, Understanding, And Bold
Of A Wise Man, Wisdom He Could Not Always Control
I Sing Of Timeless Moments And Seemingly Insignificant Things,
Of Bad Cooking, Smelly Kitchens, And All Night Chess Games
Of Late Night Lectures, First Drinks, And Bar Room Brawls
I Sing Of The Best Of Times And The Better Of Times,
Of Plates Full Of Love To Feed My Starving Heart
Of Life's Little Lessons And  The Learning Of Golden Rules
I Sing For The Lost Voice Of A Fallen Man,
Sing For My Mentor, Best Friend, For My Dad
Since You Can't Hear My Song, I'll Just Keep It Tucked Away Inside
