You're almost there

You're almost there

A Poem by Via

Take me away
Take me away to a far far away place
Where the goodies and and narcissists are accepted gladly
The skaters and grungy f**ks are looked up at
Where the dark and olive toned girls get a chance
Get a chance with the pretty and fair skinned boys
Where racism is obsolete
And hatred against the odds becomes numb
Where minority is majority
And rebellion is fitting in
Outcasts are everybody
Where nobody is the same
And girls don't feel the need to wear exactly what "she" is wearing

Tilt your head to the left and you'll see the world at another perspective
Tilt your head to the right and you'll never tilt left again
Look down and you'll see the ground isn't so far down as you think
Look up and the heavens aren't that far away either, you're almost there
Each second of our lives is a second closer to catching that beautiful place
Keep putting your change in your to-get-away-someday-jar
Cause honey, you're almost there

Lot of rage and passion mixed in this poem, sounds like it could be a rap song of some sorts.

Yes it was more of spoken word, something I would say out loud with a lot of passion
