Clearly the World Will Stop For You

Clearly the World Will Stop For You

A Poem by Jared Fellows
"

This is a poem that I wrote for my first love.

"

Clearly the world will stop for you

lovely doesn’t begin to describe your elegant beauty

air  flows through your gleaming hair in the rising sun

resting lightly on your shoulders your

acoustic voice sings out to me and floats me into your soft reassuring arms

I want to be the lucky man to hold your hand

love has never been so true  between anyone else since the

origin of time itself

voices hum to me praising you as the one who will

envelope me with a passionate embrace that will be spoken of for centuries to come

you are the only one that can set smiles on my face for days you are the only one who can

offer me a life-time guaranteed bag filled with Laughter and Fond Memories

untangle me from reality and fly me away to a magical land where we will be alone

so that I can say

I love you
