Crowned Lucky Thirteen

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader

Born on December thirteenth, still a lucky girl

Special is the day, you should give it a whirl

I'm thirteen time two, can you figure that?

My birth day was Friday, I'm a lucky cat

I am a happy medium between my mom and my dad

There numbers reverse; she's a happy lass; he's a glad lad

Dad's birthday is on the thirteenth of June

Thirteen like mine, we're from the same cocoon

While Mom's falls on the thirtyfirst of July, the last day

She's a turnabout birthday in this family they say

I nerver felt unlucky because of my birth date

Mom said I was right on time, I wasn't late

Special are girls with the lucky thirteen

I'm Mskayla the beautiful, a real Beauty Queen
