Suffering in pain

 

Waiting to die

Closing my eyes

Whispering a prayer

Into Thy hands oh Lord

I’m Yours to command

Answer came on angel wing

From my Lord up above

God sent and angle

In my time of need

I looked out the window

I saw his bright light

*******Flashing in the distance … but *******

**************Only my eyes could see************

**************I knew in that moment**************

************My life had been restored************

*************God sent His angel**************

*********Whom He loved and adored*********

*********To take away my pain*********

*******Heal me body and soul*******

****He lengthened my last hour****

***For how long I don’t know***

I know I was touched by an angel

On that day in June … that’s why

I’m here to write this poem

That you are reading now

Because of an angel’s touch

At God’s command

I give thanks to the Lord

He sent His love on angel’s wings

Strengthening my faith, making me clean

You may not believe my angle tale

But I’m still alive, a real miracle they say

I will look for my angle everywhere I go

And know I’m protected and touched

By the wings of an angle sent down from above

So my friend when the need you feel

Whisper my prayer, Into Thy hands oh Lord

Then watch for your angel God sends from above

An angel who is instructed to guard and protect
