Blue Twilight

Blue Twilight

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader

Blue Twilight

If you was my vampire

And you had wings to fly

Carry me into the blue twilight

Whisper my name

Manipulate my soul

Sink your fangs deep

Until I’m out of control

Lost in your aura

Wrapped in your arms

Dark angel cast your spell

Within the deepness of your eyes

Ecstasy envelop my darkest night

Still crimson blood pulses in my veins

Life may be over in this blue twilight

Heart is stilled

My memory fades

Awakened in shades of blue

Sweet passion of your frozen embrace

Whisk me away on the winds of time

Trapped in your taunting song

Breathless within your demonic rhyme

this is a fine write; chilling, mystic, passionate, lustful
everything a vampire themed poem should be.
