Sloth and Diligence

Sloth and Diligence

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader

Sloth and diligence

Idle hands, Devil’s workshop

Work hard, persevere

Satan’s slothful hands

Idleness one of the sins

A sin unto God

God’s diligence seen

In prayerful hard working man

A light in God’s Eye

God calls out to man

Repent of your slothfulness

Work and be redeemed

By sweat of the brow

Diligence is a virtue

Assiduousnessly

Sloth and Diligence

Some repetition, otherwise the strand is of pearls!

Sloth and Diligence......dropped many thoughts and meanings of a human life. Well done.

Not only are you able to share a spiritual message, but also you add eye appeal with the alignments of the stanzas. Thanks for sharing, Nancy. Sharon
