Haiku Butterfly Kisses

Haiku Butterfly Kisses

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader

Haiku Butterfly Kisses

Butterfly Kisses

Sweet granddaughter’s candy lips

A sticky delight

Early morning dawn

Yawning butterfly kisses

With sweet baby’s breath

Snack time comes again

Graham crackers, apple juice

She’s sweetness and light

Afternoon playtime

Push me grandpa on the swing

Butterfly attack

After nighttime prayers

Butterfly kisses at night

A grandpa’s heart sings

A beautiful tribute to Dennis and his love for your grandchildren. I am sure he sends you butterfly kisses every night.
