Haiku Cloud

Haiku Cloud

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader

http://wvscience.org/clouds/

Haiku Clouds

Puffy white by day

Edges darkened at nightfall

Some filled up with rain

Lie down looking up

Shading eyes from the bright sun

Clouds are amazing

Sweetness in the air

Marshmallow puffs in the breeze

Excites the senses

See shapes and sizes

On an afternoon of dreams

Some animal shapes

Summer lazy days

Hear the sounds of children there

We hear oohs and awes
