Haiku Catch A Falling StarA Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader
Haiku Catch A Falling Star Stars fall from the sky Filling pockets with desire For dark rainy days
Reach up, catch the stars When you see them falling down Fill your pockets full
Capture the starlight Never let it fade away Its time will come soon
Love may come your way When you least expect it to You will be ready
On one starless night Empty pockets you won’t have Stars for that moment
Fill her heart with love Whispering love’s sweet nothings Pockets of starlight
Dark sky filled with stars Where there wasn’t any there Pockets empty now
Watched for star filled nights Refill your pockets a new Catch more falling stars
Star gazing pass time Always keep your pockets full Lifetime filled with love © 2009 Nancy Lee Shrader |
