Childhood Days

Childhood Days

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader
"

A Rhymed Quatrain

"

Childhood Days

Playing dress up, a little girl’s dream
Frogs and snakes in pockets, a little boy’s scheme
Play ball or jump rope done as a team
Flavors stacked high on a cone; they enjoy ice cream

I really liked this one, it takes me back to the days when this is how children used to be, if only the world had stayed that way.
