Night's Golden Splendor

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader

Night’s Golden Splendor

Night’s golden splendor
Comes before the dawn
Joy comes in the morning
The midnight cry sounds the call
God’s Trumpet calls us all

Too many will be left behind
They didn’t heed the call
They didn’t fall on bended knee
Or call on the Savior’s Name
Didn’t change, but remained the same

Raptured in a moment
In the twinkling of an eye
All God’s children rise to glory
Basking in God’s everlasting light
After the Splendor of the Night
