Wedding Feast

Wedding Feast

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader

Wedding Feast

Vampire

Stalks the darkest night

Lusting for his blood wedding feast

Fangs sink deep

Her vein pulses with ecstasy

He has claimed his bride tonight

Blood Lust

Like Tina I love the imagery for this poem and the only typo I noticed is in line 5 you wrote pluses and I think you meant pulses. The only other thing that bothered me, and this is just me being obsessive, is the last two lines. I would have written it;
"Blood lust
Claims his bride tonight"
To me ending with just "Blood lust" doesnt really end the poem. It feels like there needs to be something else there. In spite of my writing ocd I really did like the poem. Thank you for sharing it.

Nicely done. Very intense, love the imagery in this.
