I Surrender All

I Surrender All

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader

I Surrender All

I surrender all

Upon the Cross of pain

I surrender all

Lord, wash away my stain

Burdens deep and wide

Smolder in my heart today

I need someone by my side

One to guide me on my way

Burdens parched and dry

Burn my soul to tears

Wipe tears from my eyes

One God through the years

Burdens of my misdeeds

Tear my soul apart

My God plant the seeds

Deep within my heart

At the Gate He stands

Bringing peace within

Into my Saviors hands

I placed my burdens in

I surrendered all

Upon the Cross of pain

I surrendered all

Jesus washed away my stain
