Beats of love lost

Distant memories

Leaves stains upon the soul

Tears like a monsoon falling

Torrential raining in the heart

Now only the pain is remembered

Love’s tenderness, a faded memory

Sorrowful tears pellet the heart, soul and mind

Till only pain is remembered, he seeks revenge

Death images fill the mind with homicidal schemes

This poem made my heart beat faster with anxiety from long ago memories hidden deep within my stained soul ( I really like that line... "Distant memories leaves stains upon the soul" ) This poem hits home with pained truth.
