Eternity Found

Eternity Found

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader
"

10/40 Haiku String

"

Eternity Found

Desolate moments

Birds flying helter skelter

On gray face he crawled

Above planes flying

Outer darkness surrounding

Trough becomes a grave

Ocean running red

With the blood of lost comrades

With fishes they sleep

Longevity gone

Prolonged durability

Eternity found

"on grey face he crawled" I think that this is a monumental capture there, along with the whole poem which places us face to face with the anxiety and profundity of Being-towards-death.
