That My Dear, Is Completely Arbitrary

A Story by Deepshikha
"
This is just a crappy Winx Club fanfic that I decided to write one day...Nothing much really.
"

"Eeeek!" cried Livia, jumping onto a chair. "What in the name of Magix is that??"
I set down my pile of books on the bed and shot her a look. "It's my pet drake," I sighed. "You know, the one that I've been telling you about for a week now?"
"But, but...IT LOOKS LIKE A SCALY RAT!" Liv screamed.
I rolled my eyes and picked Kyla up, cradling her and my arms. Her scales flashed a pure golden color, meaning she was happy.
"OH NO YOU DON'T!!! WHAT HAPPENED??" my dorm door slammed open, and my friend Hiro burst in, holding her energy sword in front of her.
I shook my head and set Kyla down. "Liv happened," I said simply.
Hiro, who was always looking for some mangled adventure to go on, scrunched her face disappointedly and her sword became part of the energy in her body again. "Geez, you guys," she sat on my bed. "What was the racket all about then?"
Liv squinted at me. "Her RAT! HER SCALY, HAIRLESS RAT!"
"Kyla is not a rat!" I yelled. "She's a drake!
Hiro cocked her head. "Don't drakes have wings?"
I sighed. "She's only a dar!"
"A baby, you mean."
"Whatever."
"Speaking of which," said my bonded sprite Klorale, who was the sprite of forest light. "Where did Kyla go?"
"Good riddance," muttered Liv.
I ignored her comment and walked out of the dorm. "Kyla?"
Hiro joined me. "Pshya! Now we have to go look!"
"I guess we do," I said, laughing and pulling out a slice of dried cabbage from my pocket. "Little dar, you can't hide from us, the Three Heiresses of Londira!"
Behind us, Liv grumbled, but got off her chair and joined us anyway.
