just a poem dedicated to all of the seafarers' out there who remain faithful despite of the tempting homesickness and distance from their love ones.

"The zealous SEAFARER to his lover"

Come lit my moonless night

Revive  thy ruptured heart and be my light.

Together we will defy the test of time and make it right.

I may be rough-and-tumble some time;

but my love for you is as savory as sweetened lime.

 

 

I may not be there on our future bambino's first cry,

nor give you a hug when he's giving you a hard time.

Always bear in mind that you're my only one.

Your melodious laughs serve as my balm;

Every time waves of sadness wrenches my heart.

 

My baby love please don't be alarmed;

I may traveled the seven seas...

and be awed by the wondrous sceneries.

I won't be tempted to romp with the chippies.

For I am only yours and I don't want to taste your furies.
