true love lost through lies and deception
your love withheld by mass misconception

 

trust; now a thing of the past
only time can rebuild it rock solid to last

 

all of me i gave, laid all my cards on the table

to build a family ever so stable

 

though my hurt self inflicted, this i now know
the baggage you brought, left love hard to grow

 

to hurt me so cruely, to stay, ill intentions so clear
volition that illustrated, twas not me you held dear

 

(not a family with me did you really want to forge)
was her return you have waited for
now knowing you'll never hear that knock at the door

 

you claim, completely over her you are, free to be mine
no cognizance claimed of the games you played so malign

 

love magically has now grown, or so you say
the pain thus far delivered, has caused us decay

 

you whisper sweet nothings of lasting love yet to gain
3 years waiting for her return, "us" you've now finally slain

 

i gave all from day one, in hopes that one day
your love you'd give freely, no longer held at bay

 

so you claim, your love for me now true
but how am i to believe, your misdeeds you genuinely rue....
