Bleed

Brilliance ingested through your holy heart 

Through your eyes of wonder

Bleeding the mist I inhale through my flowering nostrils

I smell

Intertwining your hairs breath as I pray

All one in time and space encapsulating my essence in the palm of your inviting hand

There was a sensuality with the depiction of love that I was mesmerized by.

CONTENT AND FORMAT

The speaker has devoted themselves to a love interest. I sensed that this was the beginning; a lustful reaction. Blood often symbolizes life and passion. This was portrayed in the "bleeding the mist." The narrator was bewitched by her "brilliance" or intelligence. Subjectively, the he or she was not attracted initially by physical beauty. Instead, they have been captivated by the other person's mind.

CLOSING THOUGHTS

Overall, I adored the sensual undertones; it was subtle and romantic. Thank you for sharing!
