content to watch

im content to watch them
to sit on the edge of the playground
just observing the other children
trying to map out their thoughts

they may think differently than me
but i want to know how they think
i want to know why they think it too
what drives them to do what they do

his fingers are crossed
and theres sweat on his brow
he's lying
and she dosnt notice

he exhales as she walks away
he is safe for now
till she realizes
but he will be gone by then

im content watching
learning from others mistakes
picking up on clues
learning how to interact

im not antisocial
not afraid of human interaction
quite the opposite really
im mezmorized by it
