Of Secrets and Forgivness

After showing summer trough the house clints grandfather excused himself to his study and told them that dinner would be ready shorty and they could sit in the sitting room if they wished.

Summer and clint sat down in the sitting room and stared up at the picture of a man and his son.The boy looked just like clint just a little bit younger.

“is that your father” summer asked pointing up at the painting over the fireplace.

“yes.” Clint said scoweling

“oh” summer said

They were quiet.

Almost as if the subject itself had brough a gloom upon the whole house.

“I don’t think you should hate him it wasn’t really his fault was it?” summer said matter of factly.

“and I don’t think its very fair for your mother to hate your grandfather for all of this ither. To me its all just very silly you all should be a big happy family. You, your brothers and sisters, your mom, your dad, your grandpa, and your grandma.”

“DON’T TALK ABOUT MY GRANDMA” clint screamed turning twords summer “ you have no idea what your talking about. She left. She left him as a baby. So grandpa tells him shes dead, and when he finds out what does he do he leaves us to go find her in mexico and never comes back. Never calls until a year ago. I COULD HAVE BEEN DEAD ALLREADY AND HE WOULDN’T EVEN KNOW IT!”

Summer turned away from clint and watched the fire “forgiveness is the key to love clint. And love is the key to happieness never forget that.”

And with that she stood up and walked into the other room to find out if she could help to prepare dinner in any way  like she did at home.

AT last! Answer's about Clint's father. So Cornelius is.. Clint's Dad's Dad. I get it now. I like that we found out what happened to Grandma too.
Now I'm curious about Clara's relationship with her Father in law Cornelius. Since Cornelius's son, and her husband, has left.. and especially given the circumstances, do they feel resent toward each other or did they grow closer? Maybe we'll hear about this more later.
When before I had told you I wanted to know what was up with Clint's dad, I don't think you should edit it to tell the reader sooner. I like how it plays out slowly, and builds up to this scene when I find out.
Bravo, you keep the reader hooked. :)

I wish you would tell me when you post these, oh well :). Alright there are some spelling mistakes in here i would suggest that you look through this and fix them, but that's totally up to you. One thing i would watch out for is capitalizing at the start of a sentence, the characters names and punctuation marks.

Other than that i really liked the chapter.I feel bad that even though Clint has a big family, it's not complete, and with his background, he should have his family supporting him. it's sad. I feel bad that he yelled at Summer but i'm sure he'll forgive him. I love them together. Awesome job :)

I like that clint no matter how much he loves summer can get mad if he feels its right i like that this was short but sweet :)

"scoweling" is "scowling"
"brough" is "brought"
and "ither" is "either"

I think Clint's dad is neglecting his family! I have to agree with Clint on this one!
Short as this chapter is, it still manages to progress the story.
