i miss
who you were
before all this
i miss the way
you treated me
like i was a human
like i had feelings
and i know
that ill probobly
always love that guy
the nice one
who didnt change
how he feels about me
every other second
but he is gone
every now and then
i catch a glimpse
something in a hug
a smile
that doesnt seem forced
but really,
your not the same anymore
and im slowly accepting
that im not
in love with you
i dont miss you
i dont even want you back
i want who you were
my friend
not even my boyfriend
just my friend
the one i could talk to
and joke with
without seeing disgust in your eyes
the one that made me feel happy
not empty
slowly,
im falling out of love
with you.

Those old memories make us smile in time. People will change. Sometime best to release the pain and remember the good times. I like the story in the poem.
