I am just a girl
An entity with breasts really

Born to two star crossed lovers
Destined to collide in their burnt out fall
From the universe, down to earth

Born to the leftover pieces
Of the war on drugs
And the holocaust

Raised by Satan herself
She still strolls the halls of my mind
From time to time
Tracing her talons along my walls
Leaving her marks
Once again

Yes I'm just a girl
Born to the broken
Destined to love the same

And oh yes have I loved the same

I've loved forrest green eyes
Dark wavy hair
Warm lips
Cold hands to match his heart

I've lost soft brown eyes
Decieving smiles
Long sleeves
Worn beanies
And beautiful scars

Oh how I wish I was born to the loved
So that someday I might raise a girl
To be loved

Perhaps the unborn too have a say in such struggles, those who know not fear, nor love, nor hatred, nor joy. They know nothing but death. And us?
