Love Me For Me

This poem came about when my teacher asked me for a poem that was sarcastically sorry.

Im sorry if you dont like me

Don’t like my shirt, pants or my Nike

The chances of people judging are likely

If i can tell don't be surprised when I ignore you abruptly..

If you dont like me for who i am then good-bye

Its always better when you keep mean things to yourself I imply

I believe in respect for one another thats what i live by

I'm always humble keeping open my third eye

Poetry is my way out poetry is my war cry

Being yourself is about being you not being a tough guy

Its a great way of relieving stress a way to untie

If you aren't happy with yourself then retry

Stop being the same as everyone just to squeak by

Im not sorry for who i am and i will deny

I will never apologize for that, thats how i testify.
